This merger brings together the best of both worlds: the historic local knowledge of the Buller Gorge and the world-class safety systems and operational excellence of Ultimate Descent.

The river. The Buller Gorge remains one of New Zealand's premier whitewater destinations, offering everything from scenic family floats to the adrenaline-pumping Ariki Falls.

We have introduced the "Earthquake Rapid Run", a full-day experience exploring the sections of river transformed by the Murchison earthquake, and we have upgraded our gear and safety protocols to align with UD standards.
